Are You More #15

It’s Wednesday, and that means it’s time for Are you more… so here we go!

01) Post-secondary degree or degree from the school of hard knocks?
At my age, the post-secondary degree doesn’t mean - I graduated from college in 1978. I also have a degree from the school of hard knocks. I think the latter is serving me better today!

02) Likely to watch a movie for the fine acting or likely to watch a movie for the fine looking people?
Depends upon the mood I’m in. I like a good movie with good acting. However, there are times that it’s really nice to watch a movie like Sheena just to see Tanya Roberts!

03) Carpet or hardwood floor?
In the bedroom, definitely carpet. Nearly every other place in the house I prefer a hardwood floor. However, we don’t have a single hardwood floor in our house!

04) Sickle or scythe?
Well, growing up my dad always called it a sickle; that’s what I’m choosing.

05) Jude Law or Colin Farrell?
My daughter says “Why pick between these two?”. I think Jude Law has a better acting portfolio.

06) Exotic havarti cheese or hearty provolone cheese?
I’m definitely a provolone man.

07) Coffee mug or coffee cup?
Coffee? COFFEE? Coffee stunts your growth! (I’m 6′7″) I don’t like coffee; how about a hot chocolate mug?

08) Paperclip or staple?
Paper clip - it can double as a “handy-dandy CD extraction tool”!

09) Peppermint or spearmint?
Spearmint. I got sick on peppermint schnapps once and while I still like peppermint, I prefer spearmint.

10) Harderoporphyrinuria or pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis?
Huh? After a quick Google on these two terms, the first is a gene disorder and the second is caused by breathing silica dust. Of course, the second is also the longest name for any disease. Either way I’m going with the second because it is a preventable disease (just don’t breathe in silica dust) and it is the longest word for a disease!
