My goodness, Steve Alford. You

My goodness, Steve Alford. You don’t like the fans to leave in the second half, as described here in the Daily Iowan. Perhaps they know something you don’t - like THE TEAM IS TIRED, they are going to wear down and eventually lose if the game is close with 10 minutes left. DUH! Get it through your head! It isn’t the players’ fault. It is a lack of bench development which is the coach’s fault. Too late for this season, but perhaps next year instead of complaining about a lack of bench you could earn your money and develop a bench! And I guess it’s like the Clinton Administration: If you tell a lie often enough people will believe it. Sean Sonderleiter even says the blame is on the shoulders of the upperclassmen. BAH! It is on the coaching staff, in particular the head coach who was unwilling to take a loss or two early to develop a bench he could count on when things got rough in the Big 10.
